Adam Child

Adam started his entertainment career working as a red coat for Butlins entertainment, performing adult, kids and family entertainment, whilst also starring in drag shows and often playing the funny, crazy, characters. Adams talent soon caught the eye and then he started live stage presenting gameshows, talent shows and hosting all-round entertainment, introducing top acts and bands.....

After Butlins he spent three years working in hotel entertainment as a coat style entertainer for t.m.c entertainment his character came extremely popular amongst the guests and kids and the same hotel had him back for winter and summer seasons. Adam then ended up making his own entertainment programme whilst also presenting/hosting whilst staring in shows.

In 2006 many people where urging Adam to go back to England and have a crack at tv presenting. It was a hard job for Adam to walk away from and was the only thing he knew!!! But he knew he had the talent to step on from there. Whilst working for TMC Adam was spotted by a talent agent who he signed with when he arrived in London. His first jobs where modelling for fashion ranges until he auditioned for the hit M.T.V show "DATE MY MOM UK" - he presented his own show which became a huge success and is even playing still today.....

After Date My Mom U.K., Adam had presenting jobs here and there and people where recognising his talents. After presenting on shows after squiz, sexerama, lets face the movies, a dance kids talent show and other productions it was then Adam decided he needed a boost for his career so decided to audition for shipwrecked 2008!!!.

 After 150,000 applicants for the show Adam wowed show bosses with his personality, wit and humour who decided to let him loose on the nation!!!

Adam was the most popular character on this year’s shipwrecked and won the nation popularity contest with earning the right as shipwrecker of the year an award where viewers phone in and vote. He’s also been a hit with the Womens weekly magazines doing shoots, and also columns for REVEAL MAG, HEAT MAG, CLOSER, NOW, DAILY STAR, TAKE 5 AND ATTITUDE. He has built a great profile from the show.

Adam is now touring around the U.K. presenting shipwrecked nights to bars, clubs and universities and has just hit his 50th personal appearance. Adam's also been used to open shops and other opening and appearances. He has also appeared on Big Brothers Big Mouth, I’m a Celeb Get Me Out of Here!, T4, T4 on the Beach, Radio One, presented Heat radio's Diet Coke Break, presenting for press nights for west end musicals and other presenting jobs.

Adam says.... since Shipwrecked its been a massive adventure and thanks everyone for there support but i’m sure there will more to come i’m not finished just yet!!!!!!!!!.

 Adam is in talks for presenting other t.v. shows so lets hope they come off...........
